Max
Max was only with us for a short while. We rescued him from the "shelter" on his last day. He was a shelter favorite and the staff asked us to take him in. He was so sweet that he was the dog used to test the new dogs for aggression. After we had him a few weeks we noticed he was having seizures. After a few trips to the vet we had the right dose of his meds and he was doing very well. Everyone was his friend and all other animals. He loved going on walks and just being with his one special person. He will be very missed by all who knew him. He was an old soul. Today June 25, 2009 he was called to Rainbow Bridge, to continue his job of vigilant protector of those he loves.

We couldn't save this sweet little girl, she didn't get to us in time. She spent her last few nights on earth being loved and cared for by all who knew her. She touched our hearts and souls forever. And she didn't have to die in the shelter.
